Art Of Tats-adding artistry to tattoos.

My mission is simple: create meaningful tattoos with integrity and purpose while providing an experience that leaves clients feeling valued, encouraged, and proud of the artwork they wear for a lifetime.

Aftercare Instructions

First 24 Hours

Leave the bandage/wrap on until home or in a clean space to take it off and clean it.

Wash your hands before touching your tattoo.

Gently clean the tattoo with lukewarm water and fragrance-free antibacterial soap.

Pat dry with a clean paper towel — do not rub.

Moisturizing

Apply a very thin layer of recommended tattoo lotion.

Do not over-moisturize. Your tattoo should breathe while healing.

In the 3rd day you can switch to the tattoo ointment. Thin layer still works.

During the Healing Process (2–4 Weeks)

Wash the tattoo 2–3 times daily.

Keep the area clean and lightly moisturized.

Avoid scratching, picking, or peeling the tattoo.

Some itching and flaking is normal.

Avoid During Healing

No swimming, hot tubs, lakes, or soaking the tattoo.

Avoid direct sunlight and tanning.

Avoid excessive sweating for the first few days if possible.

Do not shave over the tattoo while healing.

Avoid tight clothing rubbing against the area.

Important

Your tattoo may appear dull, flaky, or cloudy while healing — this is normal.

If you notice excessive redness, swelling, pus, or signs of infection, contact a medical professional.

Long-Term Care

Keep your tattoo moisturized.

Use sunscreen on healed tattoos to maintain color and detail.
